Boccia is a paralympic sport similar to Bowls and French Boules, but is played indoors. At the start of the year Greenfield School entered their Boccia teams into the Durham County Boccia tournament, where they performed very well.

Greenfield School were therefore selected to represent County Durham in the North East Regional U19 Boccia event on Friday 25th January. Unfortunately Greenfield’s older students had exams that day, therefore their younger Yr 7 team travelled to the event, for the experience.

They had a fantastic day at Cardinal Hume School in Gateshead, and were delighted to gain a bronze medal, after finishing third in the region, against some much older players. Very well done to Kyra, Willow, Joshua, Conor and Lewis.
