Great Aycliffe Community Aid Partnership (GACAP) will be holding their AGM on the 24th April at DISC Offices, Sapphire House, Newton Aycliffe, near the Blue Bridge and next door to Newton Press premises. The Secretary Joan Mitchie said “The year ahead is going to be exciting as partner numbers swell and attendance is constantly high with evidence of partners working with each other for the good of disadvantaged people in  Great Aycliffe.

The meeting will be attended by the Mayor of Newton Aycliffe Jed Hilary who will address those present. Carol Gaskgarth from PCP, one of the partners, is the keynote speaker. Geoff Batchelor Welfare Officer for Rotary Club will also give a short presentation. Rotary have been active partners of GACAP since its formation. The meeting is open to partners past and present and to individuals or groups who have the interest and welfare of people in need in the local area. Refreshments will be available before the meeting which will start at 4pm. Doors will be open from 3.45pm so come along for a cuppa and chat before the meeting starts.
