About the Author
Barry Waters lived in Newton Aycliffe for over 50 years. After thirty years in Sales and Marketing Barry retired and now spends around 11 months of the year living in Spain with his wife Louise and their rescue dog Lucy.
Over a period of years Barry has had many short stories and various poems published. His latest book Destined for the Top is Barrys first full length novel. The idea came from when he was working in South London and visiting some of the less savoury public houses. Although the book is pure fiction there are elements of what he saw and heard whilst in these establishments that had an influence on what is written.
The sequel is well underway.
