A year ago Ellis Dickinson joined Sedgefield 75 Swimming Club and he was so excited to become a member and improve his swimming. In just a short time he has done more than that.

We would like to thank everyone at the club for taking him under their wing and showing him how to improve as a swimmer.

A special thank you to John, Sue, Megan and Iain, who have all taught Ellis to be an amazing swimmer, despite his learning difficulties and struggling with learning some of the skills. The coaches have taken their time and been patient enough to still be able to teach him to be an a amazing swimmer.

Ellis recently competed in his first swimming gala, completing a 50m Freestyle in just 58 seconds. Smashing everyone’s expectations.

Thanks to the coaches who have helped Ellis every step of the way. We also want to thank the parents and the other swimmers at the club for making us feel welcome and for helping Ellis at his first ever gala.

The club is absolutely amazing and if you are ever looking for a swimming club, this should definitely be the first one you look at.

Thank you to everyone who has helped Ellis over the past year.

Ellis and his family.
