I read in a local paper that the Forrest Park development has signed up two business for the new park; a KFC drive through and a petrol station with a convenience store.
This brings nothing new to the site, but a duplication of what is already there which will only bring competition.
As a layman I can not see at the present time why we need this area developed to this extent. As I go round the current Business Park you can see numerous empty office spaces, industrial units, large and small, as well as building land available. Would it not, at the present time, be more realistic to concentrate on what we already have available and use the finances to fill the Business Park which is ready to be put to use straight away.
