Newton Aycliffe Cricket Club have designated their second team fixture against Marske seconds, on Saturday 11 June as Great North Air Ambulance Day.
In association with Waitrose, the Club will be putting on activities during the afternoon to raise money for the Great North Air Ambulance.
The game starts at 1.00pm and from 2pm there will Kwik Cricket for the kids and a barbeque.
Families, who may never have attended a cricket match at Newton Aycliffe Sports Club, plus regular visitors, are invited to attend, get involved in the activities and help raise money for this good cause, while sampling what the Sports Club and Cricket Club have to offer.
The barbeque food will be free with people asked to donate what they feel is appropriate for the food, with all proceeds going to the Great North Air Ambulance.
This day also coincides with England football’s opening Euro 2016 fixture against Russia which will be shown on the Sports Clubs many screens, so why not make a day of it and stick around to catch the match.
