Dear Editor. To the residents and visitors to Sheraton Close, I would like to ask the question: Do you think it is OK to park your vehicles in such an indiscriminate way as shown in the photograph? How do you expect an emergency vehicle to access the street when you park in such a manner? The other question is how do you expect someone who is in a wheelchair or is pushing a pram to negotiate the street when you have blocked the footpath? Come on people, spare a thought for others and use your driveways to keep the street clear. Resident, name & address supplied.

EDITOR: This is a constant complaint covering many Aycliffe streets and the problem is worse where houses have no driveways. Car owners are aware they may be blocking access to vehicles and mount kerbs, forgetting they are forcing pedestrians onto the road.
