Dear Sir,
My name is Paige Banks and I work at the Newton Aycliffe Barnados Sorting Centre & Charity Shop.
I’m reaching out to you to let our community know of a great new concept, that I’m bringing to Newton Aycliffe, for our town, the Newton Aycliffe Clothes Swap.
I’m super passionate about recycling, upcycling, reusing, being creative and providing a more sustainable and environmentally kinder future for our children and combining this with a fashionable clothes swap is a win-win for everyone!
Bring a mug (keeping it too) and grab yourself a nice tea or coffee whilst your browsing, all money raised from the kitchen will go to the Barnardo’s shop charity.
So, how does it work?
• Pay a £3 entry fee.
• Bring along your unwanted items of clothing, shoes and handbags
(Limited to ladies & men’s clothing).
• Receive tokens for your items (the more items, the more tokens).
• Your items will then be available for people to buy!
• Shop the rails/tables/baskets of other peoples items.
• Spend your tokens and bring home your goodies!
Extra info
• Items must be in good, clean condition, no rips, stains, etc.;
• Three item minimum, ten item maximum;
• Any items left afterwards will be donated to a local charity shop;
• Funds raised will be donated to Barnardo’s Children’s charity.
