An award winning charity was celebrating again following recent assessment against international standards for Quality Management Systems and Environmental Standards. The Pioneering Care Partnership (PCP) also completed the transition for both standards to the newly revised 2015 versions demonstrating their commitment to continually improving their practice.

Carol Gaskarth, PCP Chief Executive said, “PCP operates in a competitive environment and, whilst our drive and passion comes from our work supporting communities and individuals to improve health and wellbeing or increase aspirations, we need to ensure that all of our projects and services are of a very high quality to stand out from the crowd. We are constantly evaluating how we can do things better and work more efficiently; the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards help us on this journey. Our staff and volunteers play a vital role in both ensuring quality in delivery and acting as environmental champions for the organisation and the transition to the new standards is in recognition of their hard work.”

ISO 9001 is a quality management standard demonstrate an organisations ability to consistently provide products or services that meet customer and regulatory requirements and ISO 14001 aims to support organisations to minimise any negative environmental impact they may have.
