The summer season is inspiring a flavour of ‘festival’ at Greenfield Arts and our programme reflects this vision, encouraging our community to come together in a common creative cause.
We are offering activities that support and develop creativity such as our new Latin Dance classes and Specialist Arts courses. We are thrilled to welcome back Daria Coates in a new role as Dance tutor – dance into summer and improve your fitness at the same time in this fun and relaxed class. The sessions run each Thursday from 17:30 – 18:30 and the cost is just £5 a session or £35 for a ten-week block.
We are also thrilled to welcome back renowned Watercolour artist Sarah Hill who has returned with her popular class for the summer. Learn more about painting with watercolours and how to get the best from this medium and create your own image to take away. The workshop will be held on Friday 27 May from 13:30 – 16:00. Cost is £20 and will include all materials, tea, coffee and biscuits.
The summer will culminate in the ‘Our Place’ Summer Festival which runs on 10, 11 and 12 of August. There will be stalls of arts and crafts and fun tasters and workshops alongside local organisations and businesses. If you would like to know more visit our website www.greenfield-arts.co.uk or contact our friendly team on 01325 379048 for further information. Tables are available from just £10 or £20 for a marquee.
We are looking forward to sharing the summer with you. Greenfield Arts provide and stimulate creativity, questioning and enquiry to encourage our community to explore a greater understanding of themselves and the world around them. To achieve this we collaborate to produce and commission high quality dynamic and stimulating arts and creativity.
