The “Hub of Wishes” group (formerly MIND), held a Charity Night in October at the RAFA Club and a great time was had by all who attended.
People enjoyed music provided by “Of Justice” and singing by Alice Jordan. Raffle prizes were kindly donated by Krums, YMCA, British Red Cross, Thames Diner, Mikes Fish Bar, Creations Hair Stylists, Petals, Olive Garden, Masala, Occasions, Subway, Headstart Stylists, Mancini, The Worx, Walkers, Eden Arms, Thames Cleaning, Redz, Coffee Pronto, W. Slater & Sons, McDonalds, Sainsburys, Cobblers Hall Pub, Sorepaws, Sunnyhouse, Woodham Golf Club, China Garden, Bengal Lounge and Shafto Way Service Station.
The premises and entertainment were provided free and the charity wish to express their sincere appreciation – the fantastic sum of £700 was raised.
