Being unemployed can be hard to deal with alone, but being part of a Lifeline Community Action (LCA) Job Club means that  members can face the challenge together with others in a similar situation. We believe everyone has valuable skills that employers need. The Course will enable members to learn, discover, develop and be empowered to communicate these skills to potential employers. There is already evidence that LCA Job Clubs are helping people find work. Like Christine who recently completed the course at the PCP centre in Newton Aycliffe. Christine says “I found the advice on CV presentation very helpful, the do’s & don’ts informative & the company very welcoming. The LCA Job Club, together with my volunteering is helping me to grow in confidence.” Linzi Nicholls job club coach says “It’s a friendly place where you will get practical help as you seek employment. It’s a relaxed environment with the chance to meet other jobseekers, get support and gain the tools you need to find work” Looking for a job or advice and support in applying for work?
