Come in from the cold this January and share a movie with friends at St. Clare’s Children’s Movie Club. On Saturday 7th January at 2pm we will be watching the Disney BFG film. Ten year old Sophie has an adventure of a lifetime when she meets the BFG. Naturally scared at first the young girl soon realizes the 24 foot giant is actually quite charming and gentle. As their friendship grows it attracts unwelcome attention from some jealous giants. Sophie and the BFG travel to London to convince Queen Victoria to help them.

Written and produced by the talented Steven Spielberg this is a must see, feel good film. All are welcome – film club membership is only £1 and we have a great value tuck shop selling sweets and drinks. In addition to this we have hot chocolate and cake or ice-creams priced at only 50p each, so start the new term off with a treat. Film Club is for all children with or without an adult to accompany them. Doors open at 1.30pm for the pick of the seats – St. Clare’s Church Main Hall.
