Dear Sir,
It feels very strange not writing the Parliament Talk column that I have provided for the last four years, and I hope very much to recommence after the election on 4th July.
This is just a short ‘Thank You’ to the numerous people who have taken the time to write thanking me for the efforts of my team and I since being elected. Whilst I am proud to have delivered a commitment to a railway station returning to Ferryhill and was disappointed that Aycliffe Town Centre Levelling Up bid did not make the cut, our biggest satisfactions have been at the micro level.
It has been the individual stories that never make the press, but mean so much to the person or persons they affect that matter most. Whether this be a personal issue like housing, or the businesses they work at. I spent significant time meeting people and it is particularly heart-warming to get feedback, thanking me for my support and engagement in their current challenges.
Please note, my office and team will still be able to help with any urgent or time sensitive casework over the next few weeks, until the result of the General Election is announced, so, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the office by email to: paul.howell.mp@parliament.uk
If you want to contact me to discuss my campaign as the Conservative Candidate for the new constituency of Newton Aycliffe and Spennymoor, please feel free to email: paul@paulhowell.org.uk
I have been immensely proud to be your Conservative Member of Parliament and hope most sincerely that you choose to put your trust in me again on 4th July.
Yours sincerely
Paul Howell
Conservative Candidate for
Newton Aycliffe and Spennymoor.
