From the 9th to 13th July, Aycliffe Youth Council will be visiting schools around Newton Aycliffe as part of Town Pride Environment Week.
Working with Steve Cooper, Great Aycliffe’s Environment Officer, the Youth Council will be giving a presentation to classes in schools about the consequences of dropping litter, followed by a litter pick in the school’s local areas.
We welcome all members of the public and would like to encourage them to join in on this occasion to take pride in Great Aycliffe Town. All equipment will be provided. Anyone wishing to assist can meet outside the reception of the relevant Primary school at the times and dates below.
