On Saturday 24th of June at 10am , St. Clare’s Church will be hosting a 1940’s themed Fayre in the Community and Fellowship Hall with a food ration box, tombola and raffle for you to try your luck. Maybe you could win a bottle of home-made wine, beer or lemonade. Buy a home-made cake or pie, have a go at some of the games of the time or just sit and relax listening to Vera Lynn or the Andrew sisters singing classics songs of the era. We will be showing video footage of some of the celebrities of that era too. Enjoy a hot drink and a bacon sandwich and step back in time. If anyone has any memorabilia  and would like to bring it along to share with us that morning that would be great. There really will be something for all ages, so please come along with your friends and family and enjoy the morning.
