Dear Sir,
On Thursday 16th April at approximately 5pm a mature gentlemen was walking his Yorkshire Terrier dog on a lead along Burnhill Way when it was viciously attacked and killed by a Border Collie dog which was off the lead and with its lady owner.
After the incident the owner of the Collie dog said that maybe she should have had it on a lead because it had a disliking for small dogs. So if this was the case, why was the lady being so irresponsible when she was fully aware her dog was dangerous to others? Absolutely disgusting!
The gentlemen involved was left totally shocked and left devastated by the incident, as they aren’t just pets but members of your family! Please be cautious and vigilant when out and about with your dog in the Woodham area to avoid it happening to you.
