ACORN Apology
Dear Sir,
In a recent letter to Newton News, ACORN Community Association offered thanks to Gilpin Court for their kind donation of £60 towards our defibrillator fund.
We have since been corrected and acknowledge that, in fact, the money was donated by the Gilpin Court Monday & Friday Bingo Club, which has now ceased to operate. We apologise for any misunderstanding or upset caused.
