Heather Toman, born and bread in Newton Aycliffe, is the current UK & International Women’s Body Building Champion 2022 and was in Budapest representing Britain in Hungary (28-29th October) for the European Championship in natural bodybuilding.
Heather only recently started bodybuilding, this year, and entered her first competition in September in the figure category in the Southern Counties championships with the United Kingdom Drug Free Body Building Association (UKDFBA). She was immediately bumped to the physique category and became the Southern Counties Women’s Physique champion. The UKDFBA were so impressed they invited her to the UK & International championships in October to try out the women’s body building category. It was tough competition, but Heather won her category and became the UK & International Women’s Body Building Champion of 2022!
With this win she is now representing Britain in the European championships in Budapest which is a qualifier for Natural Olympia in Las Vegas in November! She will be competing against all athletes across the world and has a chance to become WORLD CHAMPION in natural women’s natural body building.
Whilst Heather currently lives in Cornwall, she often returns to Aycliffe to spend time with friends and family. We are trying to help Heather with costs of going to Vegas, as she only qualified 12 days ago, we haven’t had much time to prepare!
