The Leader of the Town Council has expressed his disappointment over the news that the promised Police Garage and Warehouse is no longer coming to Aycliffe Business Park.
Bob Fleming said he wasn’t surprised as nothing was signed and the Police Authority Chairman was leaving office when he gave the promise.
Bob said after hearing it was down to the land deal being gazumped, he was rather surprised alternative plots were said to be unavailable at Aycliffe.
“There is a ready made garage and workshop, which Holiways have vacated, available to walk in now!” said Bob.
