Everyone who works at Redworth House Care Home was invited to enter this competition to raise funds for the Residents Comfort Fund.
As you can see we had a good turnout.
All entries were judged by Paul Murray, Joanne Baker and Head Chef, Karl Aylward. The winning cake was a delicious red velvet cake made by Lara Thomas, who is part of our Housekeeping team. The Children’s category was won by 11 year old Newton Aycliffe girl, Ruby Gardiner, who had entered with a beautiful chocolate cake.
We had a great day and are hoping to make this an annual event.
