Hi everyone, hope you’re doing well. Here’s a brief update of what has been happening over the past week;
On Monday, PCSO’s Kipling & Dale detained a shoplifter in the town centre. The female, who was already wanted for a number of other offences, was transported to custody.
On Tuesday, PCSO Todd attended Aycliffe Radio to speak about local policing.
On Wednesday, a male was arrested on suspicion of Affray and transported to custody.
Also on Wednesday, officers responded to a report of a missing 82-year-old lady. Fortunately, the lady was located safe and well shortly after.
On Friday night a male was arrested on suspicion of a domestic related assault following a report of an argument coming from an address.
On Saturday members of the Neighbourhood Team were in the town centre for the Blue Light Event. It was great to see so many of our residents and have a chat with them.
On Sunday morning a female was arrested for a number of offences, including a domestic related assault, and assault on an emergency worker.
Op Trailblazer patrols have been conducted around anti-social behaviour hotspots.
Over the course of the week seven local youths have been spoken to in company with their parents in relation to causing anti-social behaviour in and around the town centre.
