Dear Sir,
I am an OAP, and on Tuesday 24th October I had a fall at the town centre which shook me up a little bit. I had an awful lot of shopping and I tried five taxis but, no-one had anything free for well over an hour. It was about 5.30pm and I have no family to call.
Finally, a lovely man called Gary, from Beechfield, stopped and helped me and he very kindly put all my shopping and my broken shopping trolley, which I’d fallen on, in his car and he took me home which was a long way from where he lived. He wouldn’t even accept any money from me for petrol.
I would like to thank Gary publicly for his kind gesture and assistance.
Patricia Gayle
