The Thames Centre once again was the venue for fund raising on Saturday. The use of the centre has been agreed for members of GACAP (GREAT AYCLIFFE COMMUNITY AID PARTNERSHIP). This time it was Harvest Church who were making use of the Centre to raise funds for Breast Cancer. The people of Newton Aycliffe were once again their generous selves. On the day £142 was raised with further money added to it following Harvest Church’s meeting on Sunday. GACAP partners meet on the first Monday of each month at DISC Offices next to the Blue Bridge at 4pm. Ron Mitchie, Chairman of GACAP said “ If you have a heart for people in need for one reason or another why not come along to our meeting or contact Joan Mitchie GACAP Secretary who will send you information about GACAP and its aims and objectives. Joan can be contacted on secretary.gacap@gmail.com
