Last weekend Tesco Newton Aycliffe staff held a “Super Hero Weekend” to raise money for their Charity Partnership with The British Heart Foundation and Diabetes UK.
Colleagues and customers alike got involved with a range of activities on Saturday 12th March including a Bake Sale, Tombolas, Hot Dog Stall, Easter Raffles, Pepper Pig meet and greet, and colleagues in Fancy Dress.
A staggering £1000 for these charities was raised, and everyone at Tesco’s sends a massive thank you to the local community for their generous donations
