12 swimmers from Sedgefield 75 swimming club travelled to the 50 metre pool at the John Charles Centre in Leeds recently to compete in the April Fool meet, hosted by Richmond Dales ASC.
Sedgefield took part in a total of 48 swims, bringing home 11 medals and 38 long course personal best times.

Ethan Craig, Katelyn Craig, Tom Curran, Chloe Harding, James Hodgson, Zoe Hodgson, Charlotte Lee, Kathryn Lee, Charlie McEwan, Oliver Turnbull, Mateusz Wilczynski and Matthew Wimbury.
All medals and races were really hard fought for at this gala, as Sedgefield were competing against some much larger clubs from Manchester, Leeds, York and Hull, to name but a few.
Katelyn Craig took bronze in the 100 fly and 50 back.
Tom Curran took silver in the 100 back.
James Hodgson took gold in the 50 free, 200 free, 1500 free and silver in the 50 back.
Mateusz Wilczynski took silver in the 50 fly, 400 IM and bronze in the 100 fly.
Matthew Wimbury took gold in the 50 breast.
