On Tuesday 27th July Woodham Burn Out of School Club from Newton Aycliffe visited Toby Carvery in Darlington. Craig and Oscar met us and were our Chef teachers for the morning. The first game we played was the fruit and vegetable quiz; we had a bowl of vegetables and only 1 bowl of fruit. Craig gave us a piece of paper with clues to what the bowl had inside. There were a lot of swapping of answers but in the end we guessed the right answer. My group came second but Kendra’s team came first and they got their lunch first as a prize.
After lots of fun games we walked to the serving area and picked our lunch, we had to have at least 2 different kinds of vegetables; we had a variety to choose from. We ate all of our lunch which was delicious and had room for ice-cream. We finished up and headed back to the club.
