Twenty-one girls from Sugar Hill primary school recently took part in a football competition held at Greenfield school. The girls were split into two teams, both of which performed magnificently across the three-week period over which the league format was played. One of the teams went unbeaten through all of their fixtures to become league champions. Year 5 teacher/coach, Mr Foxton, said; “All of our girls showed excellent skills and true commitment to their teams and the school. I am extremely proud of every one of them.”
