Lots to celebrate for Spectrum Roller Skating Club, who are soon to have their 10 year anniversary, fantastic skating with the whole team gaining personal bests and lots of amazing memories made. The club even managed to squeeze in a visit to Great Yarmouth beach, amusements and a meal together.
“We have an amazing team of athletes. Roller skating is a fantastic sport for young people to gain skills from. These skaters show so much resilience, dedication and determination and I am so proud of their achievements,” Head Coach and founder of Spectrum Roller Skating Club, Tracy Stevens.
Whilst visiting Great Yarmouth we even popped in to visit Senior Ladies British Champion, Emily Woods, for some additional advice and expertise in advance of the forthcoming roller skating dance competition in The Netherlands.
“Thank you to everyone who supports our club. We are currently fundraising to help three athletes attend The Crystal Tulip Competition in The Netherlands in May 2024. We have a JustGiving Page active and we are hoping to find 500 people who could donate £2.00 to help us reach our target of £1000. We are looking for sponsors to help us create an international fund for future events. If anyone can help, please get in touch.”
