It’s pantomime time at the Civic Hall, Shildon. Oh Yes It Is! The annual show this year is “Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs”. A spokesperson for The Tearaways Theatre Group said “Local young lady Charlotte McAdam is Snow White. The 7 Dwarfs have very familiar names and Dylan Goddard, Oscar Peatling, Faith Bingham, and Jessica Peart play 4 of them. You will be able to boo and hiss at the awful Wicked Queen, cheer as the valiant Prince rescues the young Princess. Have a good laugh at Chuckles the court Jester played by Kodie Wilson, plus Plant and Heck the 2 Henchmen (Georgia Brown, and Emma Lee) as they bungle their way through the show.
Lucy Wright, Hannah Goddard, Chelsea Berriman, Katie Horner, Olivia Bennett, Chloe Dunne and Erin Clarke provide the dancing and singing in the 2 hour show . The group have kept to the traditional story most people know and love. This is a great family pantomime with something for everyone to enjoy” Performances are on Thursday 26th, Friday 27th, Saturday 28th, January at 7.30pm.
