Brian Green, (left) and Richard Ord will cement their 25 year friendship by skydiving from 10,000 feet in May in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society.
Richard Ord, 49 from Ferryhill and Brian Green, 42 from Newton Aycliffe, have been friends for 25 years and the two pals are about to take part in one of the most memorable events in their long friendship.
For Richard’s birthday, the two are each going to take part in their first tandem sykdive from 10,000 feet for charity. Richard is a Collection Driver for Royal Mail in Durham and Brian is Managing Director at HSEQ Smart Ltd in Shildon. The skydive takes place on 17th May at Shotton Airfield, weather permitting.
Richard has chosen the charity in memory of his father, while Brian supports the charity in memory of his grandparents. “It is going to be one of my most memorable events,” said Richard, “I’m so looking forward to it and it’s all for a worthy cause.”
“It’s going to be a great challenge and it’s such an excellent charity to be raising funds for.”
