Complaints against the County Council over tree felling are increasing. Residents recognise trees that are diseased, dangerous or causing damage must be cut down, but it is the lack of notification that riles.
It would seem obvious that when the Council decide a tree must be felled they pin a notice on it to inform residents of the reason for its removal. Newton News would also be happy to place a notice free of charge.
