Are you looking for somewhere to meet your friends and have a drink, play dominoes, sing a few songs, have a quiz?

The Scout and Community Centre on Bluebell Way is looking for you. The centre has a licensed bar which is open every evening from 8.00pm (earlier on a weekend) and a large hall which is available for hire – although the hall is used during the week by various organisations – two scouting groups and a dance class amongst others.

The bar however has a couple of quiet nights, Wednesday and Saturday and if you or your group would like to use the premises to meet up we would like to hear from you.

Perhaps you would like to organise a quiz or bring your guitars along and have a song or two or a natter and noggin’.

The bar accommodates about 20-25 people, and has a good range of drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic at competitive prices. There is a TV, microphones and speakers, if required, there are also dominoes and a dart board.

Children are allowed in the premises until 9.00pm accompanied by a responsible adult.

The venue is run by a group of volunteers so you would need to organise your own entertainment, but we do have people to staff the bar and serve drinks. The bar is open to our members so it is possible that there will be other people in the bar.

If this sounds as if it would be suitable for you to meet either for a ‘one off’ occasion or as a regular meeting place then please call with details. Tel: Karen 01325 321 084 after 7.00pm or at the weekend.
