Primary school’s from the town took part in Town Pride Environment Week organised by Aycliffe Youth Council and Great Aycliffe Town Council. The nine schools learned about both the environmental and financial consequences of littering before taking part in a series of litter in the school’s local area. In total, just over 400kg of litter was removed from the town which is about 100 full bin bags.
