From reiki, health and wellbeing support, employment opportunities, financial advice and free goodies along the way – this popular event is welcome to all ages! Join leading community focused organisations at the Newton Aycliffe Youth Centre on Thursday 24th November from 10am-12pm for an insight into support available.
Carol Gaskarth, Chief Executive of the PCP, said: “October’s Community Roadshow was a hit with over 65 people attending. Whether you or someone you know is looking for support or not, this event offers a chance to see what is available to you in your community – so why not pop along? We’ll be serving up free refreshments to enjoy whilst you browse what’s on offer – we can’t wait to see you there.”
Funded by the Great Aycliffe and Middridge Partnership (GAMP) and delivered by North East charity, the Pioneering Care Partnership (PCP), the event offers a relaxed one-stop-shop for local services.
At the upcoming event, meet your community champions from the Alzheimer’s Society, Age UK, Cancer Awareness Team, Cancer Support Group, Community Money Advice, Cornforth Partnership, Darlington Credit Union, Durham County Carers, Durham County Council Warm Homes Team, Durham County Council Safer Communities Team, Durham Mental Wellbeing Alliance, Employability Durham, Financial Ability, Groundwork, Healthwatch County Durham, Job Centre Plus, Lifeline Community Action, Mental Health Matters, PCP Befriending Group, PCP Research Team, Pop Up Community Hub, Rare Rockets, Wellbeing for Life and more!
