Christine Fletcher has years of experience practicing Acupuncture at the Centre and is now extending her offer to provide Reiki and Massage.
Reiki is ideal to help with the stresses and strains of today’s busy lifestyle. It is a very simple and effective form of natural healing which transfers extra Universal Life Energy to the recipient. This can clear the energy blockages which cause symptoms, and can act on the mind, body and spirit to re-balance and harmonise. You do not need to remove any clothing and it is ideal for clients who may be unable to use a treatment couch.
Massage is an excellent way to relax aching muscles and help with various musculoskeletal problems. Christine combines holistic (Swedish), sports and acupressure massage in her treatments according to the client’s needs.
Swedish massage is generally for relaxing while sports massage focuses on specific injuries or musculoskeletal problems. Acupressure massage includes work on particular acupuncture points, but without the use of acupuncture needles.
Christine finds that combining these three types together with her knowledge of both traditional Chinese medicine and conventional medicine can be particularly effective, and each person is treated individually according to their needs.
Reiki and massage treatments usually last for one hour and cost £26.00 (£22.50 concessions). It is also possible to have half-hour treatments which cost £18.00 (£15.00 concessions), although the first appointment must be an hour for Christine to get to know you.
