Runners and joggers are being encouraged to take part in this year’s Bupa Great North Run on Sunday 16th September for Butterwick Hospice at Bishop Auckland.
Even if you were unsuccessful in securing your own place in the ballot Butterwick Hospice still have a number of guaranteed places available.
Mandy Shields, Fundraiser for Butterwick Hospice said ‘the places we do have remaining will be allocated on a first come first served basis, so you will need to act fast’’
The Bupa Great North Run is the world’s biggest half marathon and it can be difficult to get a place for the event.  Those who sign up to raise money for Butterwick Hospice will not only secure their place but also receive a running vest, useful training tips and post race support at the charity village.
The closing date for entries into the Great North Run closes on Friday 29th June. For more information and to secure your place please call Mandy Shields on 01642 628930 or email mandyshields@butterwick.org.uk
