On a very cold, snowy and windy Sunday 24th March four members of Aycliffe Triathlon Club took to the road for Stockesley Duathlon.
The multi sport event was made up of a tough 5k run – 35k cycle – 5k run course which was made even tougher by the terrible weather conditions. First home for Aycliffe Tri Club was David Greatorex with 1:52:57 then Robin Horn coming in at 1:59:51 followed by Andrew Robertson at 2:13:41 and Kevin Greenall 2:23:38. The four club members thoroughly enjoyed the event describing it as “Character Building”.
