Woodham Burn Out of School Club opened in 2003 and has continued over the years to provide an invaluable service to parents/carers and their children. The club has strived  to build on its excellent reputation in providing before school, after school and holiday care for children aged 3 to 12 years attending Woodham Burn Community Primary School and the surrounding areas.

The children were described as “happy, secure and settled. They show high levels of confidence and independence as they are eager to learn.” The staff were highly commended throughout, the inspector adding “Staff strive to promote the best possible outcomes for children and maintain the already exceptional standard.”
The leadership was described as “inspirational” and “within her role she strives to provide high quality care and education for children and their families.”
Mrs Rowe the head teacher said: “I am delighted with the outcome of the inspection. The club is an enormous asset to the school and this judgment is well deserved!.”
