Enjoy a free glass of fizz at local business office warming event as a NorthEast technology company, set for expansion, moves to Aycliffe Business Park. Excelpoint plotted the move after outgrowing its existing offices in nearby Shildon. Now based in Evans Business Centre – it is located at the heart of one the largest business parks in the North East of England.

Excelpoint is one of the region’s unsung heroes. Its unique software enables organisations to create bespoke business systems without writing a line of bespoke code and is widely used in a variety of sectors including health, construction, defence, not for profit and the public sector. Managing director Ian Brown explained: “It is great to be at the centre of such a thriving business community, we are looking forward to growing the business here for many years to come.”

To celebrate the move, Excelpoint will be hosting an office warming event on Friday, May 12. The opening ceremony will be performed by Mike Matthews, managing director of Nifco UK, and president of the North-East Chamber of Commerce. Mr Brown explained: “This is a friendly, informal event, anyone is welcome to come along and enjoy complimentary food and drink between 12 and 2 pm.” To celebrate the company’s continuing growth, Excelpoint has pledged to support to a new worthy cause.

Mr Brown explained: “We already have a longstanding association with several charities and we thought it would be a nice gesture to add another good cause which has been chosen by our guests.” To nominate a cause close to your heart, get in touch via the company’s website at www.excelpoint.co.uk/contact   The chosen charity will be announced on May 12 during the event.
