Bethany House Nursing Home residents had a wonderful day on the terrace with their family, friends and staff, listening to Brian playing seaside tunes from the Street Organ, accompanied by Ken on the Harmonica on Thursday 10th August.
St. Clare’s Fusion / Shine Choir / Youth Group helped with Sand Art, Pebble Painting, Hook a Duck and Sandcastle Building, many thanks to Elizabeth and Helen, and all the parents for visiting us with your families.
Residents were also treated to a chip shop lunch, an ice-cream from the Mr Whippy Van, then we relaxed, watching Claire perform a puppet seaside show, residents clapping and singing along to the songs.
Our residents, their families and friends, tell me they all thoroughly enjoyed the day and ‘Lifeguard Alan’, you were good fun on the day, thanks for your help.
