Since opening for business in 1963 Newton Press has strived to bring the best service possible to the community it serves for 55 years.
One of our aims was to attempt to provide goods and services to the new town which was unavailable, helping to save residents a journey out of town to obtain goods.
Our Print Factory has always kept pace with modern technology and Newton Press invested heavily in new equipment to offer a fast and efficient personal family service. The service we offer is not only for local businesses as we despatch daily to customers all over the UK.
Newton News has been one of the strong pillars of our business, with small beginnings from a monthly black and white four page newspaper moving to a fortnightly issue, then to a 16 page full colour edition, popular with readers and advertisers alike.
Starting off in the back-room of a baker’s shop at Neville Parade we moved first to larger premises in the Town Centre and with further expansion, a few years later, taking us to an even larger Print Factory on the Business Park.
Our recent move to the Blue Bridge Centre in 2015 was part of another expansion programme and we have ambitions to refurbish our last factory, near Talents and Ramsey’s Garage, to provide eight separate units for rent, bringing other useful services to the Aycliffe Business Park.
Moving with the times Newton Press is now offering marketing and website design, helping our customers old and new to showcase their business.
Readers will also have noticed a move into supporting On-line Community Radio which is proving very popular as a non-profit making organisation, utilising voluntary D.J. and broadcasting talent in the town and abroad.
Readers may also have noticed a change in our presentation image with a new banner design and company logo.
All these changes shows Newton Press as an ambitious, forward looking business eager to provide a good family service to all our customers.
