Neville Community Centre is a charity based at Neville Parade and is a purpose brick-built building, opened in January 1972, to serve the nearby community.
The centre is wheelchair accessible throughout and we have accessible toilet and baby changing facilities
Over the years it has been the home of many activities organised by various people or groups, this includes: Sewing, Dance, Pilates & Tai Chi classes, Dog Training, Toddler Playgroup and Childrens Learning.
Currently the Trustees run a Community Café every Friday morning from 10am to 12 noon serving bacon or sausage sandwiches, toasted teacakes, crumpets and various teas and coffees at very reasonable rates.
The centre consists of two rooms:
The large hall comfortably holds 120 people and can be used for weddings, christenings, birthday parties, stage productions, exercise classes, playgroups, bands and much more.
The small hall is ideal for smaller groups of up to 15 people and is an excellent size for training sessions.
Both rooms are served by a well-equipped kitchen and although there is no bar within the facility, there is an entertainment and music license.
For any entertainment, we have loudspeakers and internet connection.
If you would like any further information, or would like to book one of the halls, please contact Brian Lovell on 07595 907728 or contact us through our Facebook page ‘Neville Community Centre’.
