Year 11 students at Woodham Academy experienced a mock results day last week.
All students recently completed a whole set of mock examinations in their various subjects. The results were held back from the students until last Thursday afternoon, when the students came together and were issued with results envelopes. Pictured are Callum Clasper and Luke Watson who were both delighted to receive high GCSE grades in a range of subjects.
Deputy Headteacher Jonathan Lumb, who organised the event, said “This is a great opportunity for the students to experience the emotions that the results day in the summer brings and then to implement actions that can help them to make further improvement between now and the actual examinations”.
Callum said he was delighted with the grades he is currently working at but will work even harder between now and then to push for more A*/A grades.
