Come along to celebrate how special our mothers are next weekend at S.Clare’s Church. MESSY MOTHERS DAY on 5th MARCH, will give children the opportunity to create and make some special individual gifts for their mums. Dads ! Why not let mum rest at home and you could bring the children along , making sure the surprises they receive are extra special. Come along as a family and enjoy the afternoon together. We welcome everyone mams, dads, grans, grandads, uncles, aunties – just come. Beginning with registration from 3.30pm, we begin at 4pm sharing a story and song together. Activities to follow will include, cupcake decorating,card making, painting, heart magnets and our extra special BREAKFAST IN A BAG shhh! Its a surprise. Everyone can then enjoy a baked potato tea, with fillings and salad, followed by Mother’s Day mousse and cakes. A plate will be available for donations, suggested £2 per child.
FAMILY WORSHIP at St. Clare’s follows the next day at 10am with the traditional giving of cards and daffodils for Mothers Day. Again a service suitable for the whole family to come together, brownies will lead the prayers and there will be refreshments afterwards.
