Saturday’s match was absolutely brilliant by every player. Dominating straight from kick-off. Our keeper, Theo, kept his concentration throughout and pulled off some amazing saves.
The defence of Anderson, Mikey, Paige, Henry, Isaac, George and Joseph all battled hard and kept Hetton away from goal, apart from a few long balls over the top. They are getting better and stronger every week.
Midfield of Cruz, Chappers, Joshua, Danny, Harry and Dowson. They all worked tirelessly throughout and not only protected the defence but also got their heads up to start attacks. The constant pressing caused Hetton a lot of problems.
The front two for the match were on fire. Jake and Oscar ran the Hetton defence crazy all match. Seven goals between them says it all. Before the match we worked on their passing and understanding and they took that straight into the match. At times looked like they were on another level and untouchable.
Amazing performance and hopefully more to come. Well done everyone.

Player of the Match: Oscar. This season’s top scorer was at his absolute best today. He scored three goals and could have had more. At one stage, before taking the ball round the keeper and hitting home, he took on seven Hetton players on his own.
