The Mayor of Great Aycliffe, Councillor Mrs. Sandra Haigh, would like to invite you all to her Halloween Party on Saturday 30th October at the Sports Club, Moore Lane, Newton Aycliffe.
The spooktacular event is provided with help from GAMP and Acorn Community Association and the fun starts at 5.30pm – tickets are only £3 (adults and child same price) including buffet and raffle entry.
Tickets are on sale now from the council offices, with all proceeds going to Children’s Blessings. The Mayor has chosen Children’s Blessing’s as her charity for her term of office.
The Children’s Blessing’s project is part of Lifeline Community Action and provides emergency support to parents, carers or parents-to-be who are living in poverty in Newton Aycliffe and surrounding areas.
As part of this fundraising, the Mayor has created a ‘go fund me’ page and if you wish to donate to this local cause visit: https://uk.gofundme.com and search for ‘Lifeline Community Action’ and select Mayors Annual Charity (Sandra Haigh).
