Mayor of Great Aycliffe Barbara Clare is appealing to townspeople to help her find a photograph for her civic Christmas Card this year.
‘We have a town to be proud of,’ says Barbara, ‘and I would love to be able to put a photo of Aycliffe on the front of my official card. I am hoping that someone in the town will have a winter scene which shows Aycliffe at its most beautiful for all the world to see.’
If you think you have a great winter photograph which would make a nice civic Christmas Card please email it to info@great-aycliffe.gov.uk.
Photos need to be big enough to enlarge for use on the card, and scenic photos only please – the Council will not be able to use pictures including people or animals.
Please remember that by sending your photos you are giving consent to use them for publicity purposes. You will, of course, be credited on the card as the photographer.
