Ken Simpson, Shoe Repairer at Shildon has won the coveted Master Craftman of the Year award for the second time.
Ken is a regular advertiser in Newton News and has many loyal customers in Aycliffe. He has been in business for 23 years and followed his father who opened the cobblers shop in the 50’s.
Ken also provides watch straps, batteries, key cutting, engraving and bespoke leather work. He is introducing a watch pressure testing service this week with a new piece of equipment he bought with his £600 prize money.
