A wet start to the week saw me back in the gym on the static bike, but the weather improved and I managed to cover some good distances.
On Saturday I called in to the open day/running day for the Aycliffe & District Bus Preservation Society. I’m not strictly a bus fan but you must appreciate the time and effort put into restoring these classics and keeping them on the road.
At the end of week three, 20th August, I have completed 370km or 230miles and it should be downhill from here, figuratively speaking.
To put that distance into perspective if I had just ridden south I would have reached London by now, and if I had headed north I would be in Inverness.
As my challenge nears its goal, I have raised just under £750 for my charities. Every penny counts for these charities please dig deep and donate what you can on my fundraising page at http://linktr.ee/lwilliams_fundraising
